Our CredentialsThorough Clean Rug Care Specialists is located in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania and was founded by Cleaning Specialist Bill Mountain. Bill received his training in this specialized industry from K. Blatchford’s Oriental Rug Cleaning, Repair & Restoration located in San Diego, California (a company recognized within the rug cleaning industry as one of the premier providers of specialized hand cleaning and hand repairing of oriental rugs, American Indian weavings and tapestries in the nation).Thorough Clean Rug Care is a member of the Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration (ASCR), and the National Institute of Rug Cleaning (NIRC). Bill Mountain also owns and operates Thorough Clean Carpet Care. He is well known throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania as the professional expert in cleaning solutions for residential and commercial clients. He is certified in cleaning by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC) as a Journeyman Cleaning Technician and carries further certifications in Commercial Carpet Maintenance, Upholstery & Fabric Cleaning, Water Damage Restoration, Color Repair, and Carpet Repair & Reinstallation. Thorough Clean also carries a certification from Bane Clene. Bill regularly teaches rug owners about the proper techniques for oriental and specialty rug care.
